This storybook set comes from Leghetna, created by Marie and Heba, two Lebanese moms in Montreal with a shared mission to preserve the beauty of the Lebanese dialect for the next generation. Their work is designed for families who want spoken Lebanese to feel natural, familiar, and joyful at home.
3 Stories of Outings with Zeina & Rami follows the siblings on everyday adventures at the supermarket, the doctor’s office, and at Teta and Jeddo’s. Each story is written entirely in spoken Lebanese using Arabizi, so no Arabic letter reading is required, making it especially accessible for parents who speak Lebanese but do not read formal Arabic.
By grounding language in real-life outings and familiar routines, the stories help children build vocabulary through context and repetition. With warm, expressive illustrations and a speech-therapy-informed approach, learning feels intuitive and relatable, just like daily life.
Why families love it:
-
Written fully in spoken Lebanese (Arabizi), no Arabic reading required
-
Three relatable outing-based stories kids recognize from everyday life
-
Designed using a speech-therapy-based learning approach
-
Suitable for ages 2–10, for read-aloud or independent reading
-
Includes one bonus vocabulary sheet per story
A practical, comforting way to build Lebanese language skills through the moments families share every day.
